Belgian Lost Frequencies performs live for over 70,000 fans
From Los Angeles and New York to Milan, Paris, Brussels and now, three more cities
Friday, 31 January 2020 - ‘Alive and feeling fine’. That's not just the name of the latest album by Lost Frequencies, it's also a good description of the current mood of the young Felix De Laet. The Brussels-based producer has touched down in Belgium after a live tour, which took him to the USA and Europe. With sold-out concerts in cities such as LA, New York, Paris and Brussels – representing a total audience of 70,000 fans -, he is now adding three extra dates to his tour. In March 2020, you can catch him in a live set-up making an appearance in Poland, and in April, his tour schedule takes him to London. To use the title of one of his own number 1 hits: Crazy!
The young Brussels-based producer Felix De Laet, aka Lost Frequencies, is the most played Belgian artist on the planet and is certainly one of Belgium's favourite export products at the moment. In the meantime, he has come home from his first major live tour. In a spectacular production and setting, Lost Frequencies performed fresh, innovative interpretations of his songs. Over 70,000 fans had the opportunity to see him do his thing live. The result: sold-out shows in the United States – from San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego to New York and Washington - and Europe. Because of the huge success and positive response, Lost Frequencies is now adding three new dates. This spring, he will travel to Poznan and Warsaw in Poland. In April he will appear live in London.
Felix De Laet: “The tour was the max: spending three whole weeks ‘on the road’, in a real tour bus. I’m very happy to add 3 extra dates to the tour. But the one concert that I'll always remember is the show at Vorst Nationaal. In my own backyard! I’m super proud to have been able to play such a big show in my own city. The next level.”
Brand-new album
In October, the brand-new double album by Lost Frequencies was released: ‘Alive And Feeling Fine’. In part one of the album, along with a number of Lost Frequencies’ most recent gems (‘Crazy’, ‘Recognise’, ‘Melody’, ‘Truth Never Lies’), there are also new collaborations with artists such as Mokita and Throttle. In part two, which, in the physical version of the album, is presented as one long mix, there are also deluxe mixes, Tomorrowland edits and remixes to tracks by artists such as Armin van Buuren, Estelle & Kanye West and The Rasmus. These two parts together create a musical spectacle made up of 23 tracks.
